(More customer reviews)I first read an excerpt from the book in an on-line summary of bike first aid, and was intrigued enough to order the book. Dr. Brighton writes in a humorous, somewhat tongue-in-cheek mode about the common injuries and health problems that can happen to cyclists, and how to deal with them in a surprisingly practical manner -- from life-saving CPR to dealing with bears and mountain lions ("... if this doesn't work, please page ahead to the next chapter, GROSS TRAUMA.") I found it to be an entertaining as well as informative read, and can empathize with his approach, as I have about the same rolling to falling ratio when mountain biking as the good doctor does ;-)
