This will be the standard desk reference for slip/fall control for years to come or until Steve improves it.
Slips/Falls are among the top 3 causes of work, home, public injuries and deaths. We baby boomers will double in population over the coming decade or two, and we are the predominant population who will slip and fall, with a corresponding increase in frequency and cost. The practical knowledge in the book will make a significant difference if embraced by those who design/redesign walking surfaces and those who are advocates for safety, especially for the elderly.
